Larry Kinsman
Principal Owner, Founder
Larry has over twenty years of experience as a geologist and hydrogeologist in project design, cost estimation, field supervision, and technical support of environmental remediation projects. Larry has participated in training regulatory agencies and foreign governments on remediation technologies and treatment chemistries.

Larry was part of the Interstate Technology and Regulatory Work Group (ITRC) working group that developed technology/regulatory guidance documents for the in-situ chemical oxidation of soil and groundwater. Author of multiple patents for the treatment of organic and inorganic contaminants.
Scott Craig
Principal Owner
Scott joined ORIN Technologies in 2002 as a project manager with over 30 years of experience in environmental consulting and contracting. Now part owner, his expertise includes chemical remediation design and implementation, system design, permit assistance, construction oversight, and operation. He has worked on projects involving soil vapor extraction, air sparging, pump and treat, and chemical remediation.

Scott has implemented various remediation chemistries, including BAM, permanganates, hydrogen peroxide, sodium persulfate, and biological reductive dechlorination. Before ORIN, Scott managed remediation systems and coordinated field activities as an environmental technician and staff scientist.
Tyler Emerson
Project Manager
Tyler is currently a project manager at ORIN Technologies, he started his career in August 2010 as an environmental technician. As project manager at ORIN, his duties include client interaction, project design and implementation. Tyler’s field work experience includes involvement with numerous in-situ and ex-situ remediation sites. He coordinates field teams, monitors progress, and ensures adherence to safety protocols.

Tyler actively participates in business development opportunities though client meetings and trade show events. Beyond the office and field, Tyler is active in ORINs in house laboratory. He assists with treatability studies – evaluating the effectiveness of various remediation techniques and conducts total oxidant demand testing.
Jacob Mirfield
Project Manager
Jake joined ORIN Technologies in June 2015 as an environmental specialist after graduating from the University of Iowa. His duties at ORIN include project design and planning, cost preparation, proposal writing, and project implementation. Jake is involved with design and implementation of treatability studies and total oxidant demand testing within ORIN’s in-house laboratory. Jake also assists in maintenance shop management and organization.

Jake’s field work experience includes involvement with numerous in-situ and ex-situ remediation sites as well as working with clients, consultants, and associated personnel. In addition, the implementation of several different treatment chemistries consisting of: BAM, calcium polysulfide, permanganate, peroxides, persulfates, and ZVI.
Benjamin Polchowski
Environmental Specialist
Ben joined ORIN Technologies in November 2018 as an environmental specialist after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His duties at ORIN are maintenance shop management and organization, repair of ORIN’s specialized injection equipment, and organization/preparation for field work. Ben assists with treatability studies, microscope analysis, and total oxidant demand testing in the lab.

Ben’s field experience includes involvement with in-situ and ex-situ remediation sites working with clients, consultants, and associated personnel. He has implemented many different treatment chemistries consisting of: BAM, persulfates, permanganate, peroxides, sodium hydroxide, sulfuric acid, emulsified oils, nutrients, and various forms of iron.
Robert Clark
Environmental Specialist
Rob joined ORIN Technologies in January 2018 as an environmental specialist after graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His duties at ORIN are maintenance shop management and organization, repair of ORIN’s specialized injection equipment, and preparation for field work. Rob assists with treatability studies and total oxidant demand testing in the lab.

Rob’s field experience includes involvement with in-situ and ex-situ remediation sites working with clients, consultants, and associated personnel.
